The 5 bedroom cabin was donated by the Harris family of North Carolina. It was very beautiful and very cozy.
We enjoyed the living room where we often gathered for conversation and bonding.
Friday night started off with eating (which we did a lot of all weekend!). Many members (and one former member) joined
us that night for fellowship, fun and games. Some ladies went home, some stayed the night.
Saturday morning started with a wonderful breakfast cooked by the very talented Darlene Milks. So much food!
Fried potatoes, bacon, biscuits, and sausage, oh my! Saturday afternoon, we had our retreat meeting. We listened
to Gloria's tape from the 2004 National Conference (Richmond, VA) of guest speaker Yoland King, the daughter
of Martin Luther King, Jr. We had a group discussion following.
Saturday evening we went to the Texas Roadhouse in Sevierville. Again, more food! But we had such a wonderful
time. After dinner we returned to the cabin before heading to our rooms for the night.
Sunday morning we cleaned up then headed to Cracker Barrel for brunch.
